Easter 2011

These are just a few pictures from our Easter. The Easter Bunny came to our house on Saturday night since he had so many stops to make on Easter Morning! (And since we had to get ready for church in a hurry this year!) We had fun dying eggs! She had a good time finding eggs in our house, since it has not stopped raining for days!

We are very blessed, especially this year! We are having this little one VERY soon and God has blessed us tons! Hope that you have a wonderful Easter also!

How Great Thou Art

I just wanted to share this, I hope you enjoy it as much as I did!

I've been gone for a while........

So, I have been gone for about 3 weeks....sorry. With Addison coming so soon we are trying to get things ready! We have been having some pretty bad storms here also. This past Tuesday we had a MAJOR storm and we are pretty sure that a tornado touched down right around my parents house. The roof on their barn was torn off, they had many trees down, but we are thankful that no one was hurt and their house is fine. God is good. Everything is fixable. Praise the Lord.

A little update on Addie: She is growing like a weed! And if you ask me she looks just like her big sister, but with a lot of hair! Calleigh did not have much hair, but Addie already has 1/2 inch! No wonder I have such heartburn!

She is about a week and a half ahead of schedule and I am feeling it! I have started having contractions, which I did not have with Calleigh since she was an emergency C-Section. I am feeling a LOT of pressure and getting a little uncomfortable. I am not freaking out though, I am pretty calm about everything. I am excited to meet our new little princess! And my oldest princess is getting excited to meet her sister! She is going to be such a helper and that makes Mommy very happy!!!!

Calleigh had an excellent birthday! Here are some pictures from her 3rd birthday party!

She got a lot of nice things including her very own TV for her bedroom! She has really taken to potty training and even though she has had a few accidents we are very proud of her!

We recently had maternity pictures taken.....we bought a package that includes Maternity, Newborn, 3 months, 6 months, 9 months, and 1 year. Calleigh can be included in all of the pictures, we can have family pictures taken each time, and we got a really good deal that we are very pleased with. We have viewed the pictures and they are great, when we have permission we will share them with you!

I only have about 1 month left until my life changes for the better once again! I am so excited but so busy getting ready for her at home and getting my work ready for me to be gone for Maternity leave, which I am very blessed to have.......from May 23 until August 15......as long as everything goes as planned! I work at such a wonderful place where it is also partially paid!

I have been thinking a lot about so many things; it is crazy the things you think about when you can't sleep at night. I think about how thankful that I am that I am married to Andrew. We have such a wonderful marriage. We have been through so much with each other and it has only made us stronger. I heard a song thing morning on my way to work and I got teary thinking about how great he is. The song is called "Love Don't Run" bu Steve Holy. Sometimes, like any couple, we have disagreements that do not last long at all, but I always think back to the night, October 4th, when I had some blood and though I was losing the baby, he held me while cried, and when I heard these lyrics, I though of him:

"love don't run, love don't hide,

it won't turn away or back down from a fight baby,

i'm right here, and i ain't goin' anywhere love's too tough,

won't give up, no not on us baby, love don't run "

I am so lucky to have him in my life. He is such a great husband and an even better father to our girls!

With Easter coming, I think about of how easy it would have been for Jesus to get down off of the cross, but he didn't. He died for our sins. So, in a way, he could have ran too, but he didn't. Isn't that amazing? What kind of love that is! I am so thankful to be saved by the blood that spilled from that cross. And even more importantly, I am so thankful that he rose from that tomb!

I hope you have a great Easter! Remember what he did and is still doing for you.
