My Wonderful Weekend

I had such a good weekend! On Friday night, we stayed home, watched Grey's Anatomy, ate a chicken ring, and had a good time! On Saturday, we dropped Calleigh off with Andrew's mom for some grandma time and we went to the movies. WE saw "Nights in Rodanthe", which was great, and it was better because I love Nicholas Sparks so much! That evening, we picked Calleigh up and went to Red Lobster with my parents and had a good time with some REALLY good food! Then we ran to Babies R Us and got Calleigh some new clothes(not like she does not have enough already!) It was a nice night! On Sunday, we decided to clean the house, make cookies and baked spaghetti for Andrea, Kyle and Alyssa and we ate lunch with them and spent the day with the new family. Calleigh got to spend some more time getting to know her new friend!

Last night, we stayed home cause Andrew was not feeling well, but he felt better after a few aspirin and a nap with Calleigh. I did some more around the house while they napped and then we had supper and watched some tv. It was a good weekend to relax!

Baby Alyssa is here and time with Calleigh!

Baby Alyssa was born on Tuesday morning at 2:19 am. She weighed 6 lbs, 12 ozs. and was 20 inches long! She is very beautiful and the answer to her mommy and daddy's prayers! She is beautiful!

After taking yesterday off to get some much needed sleep and after spending time with Andrea, Kyle and Alyssa, I spent the day with Calleigh playing outside, having a good time! Here are some pics of us on our day together!

We had a lot of fun, just mommy and Calleigh time! I have been blessed with a wonderful little girl and I love every second of being her mommy! God is taking good care of me and doing wonderful things in my life and I want to praise and thank him for that!

Hope everyone is having a good week! Leave me a message and let me know what is going on in your life!

Baby Alyssa is on her way!

So, my best friend Andrea just called and told me her water broke about 1 hour ago! Alyssa Jewell will be her soon and I can't wait! She is going to be so sweet and cute! Off to the hospital we go! In about 11-23 hours she will make her appearance into this world! Just a little more time of having her safe and sound in Andrea's belly!

Happy Anniversary........gotta love it!

So, we did have a good anniversary, even though we did not get to see each other that much! I got Andrew an IU pullover and some new Tommy 10 cologne and her got me a Willow Tree Figurine and a Vera Bradley glasses care. Below are what they both look like!

For those of you who know me well, you know how much I loved the Willow Tree Figurine! Andrew told me he was going to have to build me a bigger mantel so that I could fit all of them on it because I am already out of room! It was nice to spend a little time together and think about how far we have come! I love him!

He took the day off to spend time with Calleigh and do some things around the house! They are coming to eat lunch with me! Yeah!

This weekend is going to be busy for us! We are going to Zeth's football game where he is in homecoming tonight, then tomorrow we have soccer games and the light parade at night, and Sunday is a fun day at church with a meal following! Lots to look forward too!

That's all for now! Have a great weekend!

Happy Anniversary to us!

Three years ago today Andrew and I got married! The ride has been a great one ever since! Our love for each other has done nothing but grow more and more! We have been through a lot together. WE have first gotten married, moved away from our families, decided to move back, purchased our first house, first car, and first pet. We have made changes to our house together, went on vacations together, been through the death of family together, struggled to get pregnant and then by the grace of God had our beautiful little angel together. We are always there for the other when they need it and always support each other. Our faith in God has grown stonger through each other. I want to be the wife he always imagined having, and he is the answer to all of my prayers.

(Our wedding day!)

For those of you who know me well, I have had my fair share of loser boyfriends in the past. I had the normal guy who turned to drugs, then came the verbally and physically abusive guy, next was the guy who I wanted to change, but he had other plans, and lastly was Andrew, the guy I always dreamed of. September 18, 2004 was a day I will never forget; the day Andrew asked me to spend the rest of my life with him! September 17, 2005 was the day we vowed to love each other through thick and thin, forever and ever! August 2, 2007, our lives changed when we found out a baby was on the way to make our family complete! April 1, 2008, we welcomed our little girl into the world and our lives have never been the same. These are just a few of the highlights of our time together; memories I will NEVER forget! I know there are so many more out there for us, so I am ready! I am blessed to have such and wonderful person in my life and even more blessed to say that he is MY husband!

(Turkey hunting together!)

Thanks Andrew, for making all my dreams come true and for being the best husband ever! Happy Anniversary! I hope there are so many more memories ahead for us! Thanks for letting me be your wife! I love you!

A bunch of different thoughts

Well, first off, I have a great job offer, but I am going to pass on it. I have prayed about this because I really like my job now and I like the people that I work with are great! I have really thinking about my options and I looks like the best option for me is to stay here. Andrew agrees, and that makes me feel better about this decision.

On Saturday, I went shopping with Andrea, which is something I have not done in a long time and we had a really good time together. I bought Calleigh some Halloween items and got a few things for her bedroom. She has(as of Saturday night) moved into her own room and she is doing very good with being in there. We tried three different costumes on her and picked out one.....but you will have to wait and see which one we choose!

Andrew had an event last night and one of the mom's gave us a little cheerleading uniform with Washington Catholic on it so Calleigh can wear it to some of the games she goes to! We also have a new shirt for her to wear to Zeth's football games! She has been getting over her cold and she is feeling much better.

I had to go to the eye doctor today and they made me get some new glasses, here is a picture below of what my new glasses look like, I should have them in about a week!

Andrew and I have a date this Friday for our anniversary! A date, all by ourselves, whatever will we do;-)That is about all for now, hope to have something interesting to post soon!

Calleigh is sick :-(

Calleigh is suffering the effects of her first cold! She did not sleep at all last night (mommy did not either), so we are both very tired. She is very congested and cries all of the sudden. She HATES having the nasal aspirator used on her, she screams at the top of her lungs, which makes Roo howl. So, our night was not good. I am taking her to the dr. today so he can make sure that she is not developing any pneumonia in her lungs, that is the last thing that we need. Please keep her and us in your prayers as she does not understand what is happening with her and just wants us to make it better! I hate so see our little angel so sad and upset. I hope that they give her some meds today that can help her get over this little cold!

Hope everyone is doing better than we are! Take care!

Labor Day Weekend

Our Labor Day Weekend was a blast! And all because we did not do anything, but still got to have so much fun as a family! On Friday night, we went to the Southridge/Jasper Football game to watch Andrew's cousin Zeth play! It was such an exciting game with such a wonderful ending....SOUTHRIDGE BEAT JASPER! Anytime ANYONE beats Jasper it is a good game! But there was so much action in this game, any person who likes sports would have appreciated this game!

On Saturday, Andrew, Calleigh and I spend the day just hanging out at our house, watching tv and relaxing. That evening we went to Kyle and Andrea's house and then Andrew and Kyle went to their fantasy football draft. Andrea, Calleigh and I went the the Labor Day Fair and then back to their house.

We went to Andrew's family church on Sunday, went out to eat with Andrew's family at lunch, and then I had a Bridal Shower in the afternoon! We then went Spotlighting and filmed a few deer. We had a good time. WE have all been getting over colds, so we took some medicine and went to bed!

Calleigh with her daddy in her camo ready for spotlighting!

Calleigh with mommy, ready to go!

We got up early and did some cleaning around the house, mowed the yard, and then went out to eat with his family at Denny's, came home, and then went spotlighting again! We had a good times this weekend!

Helping mommy fold laundry!

We had a good weekend!
