~Wordless Wednesday~

(I am trying a new thing here, if I like it I'll do it every week! I will post a random picture that needs no words......so here we go!!!)

Lil' Fishes

This weekend we had such a good time! My parents had Calleigh Friday night while we went to see the new babies, Karly and Kady! They are twins of our friends, Jarrod and Ashley. They are all so happy and healthy and we are happy for them! On Saturday morning we got up and did some work around the house, I went to WalMart while Andrew stayed home while Calleigh took a nap and then we got ready for our Father's day dinner with our dad's at our house. My mom and dad and Andrew's dad and step mom came over and we had dinner and gave them their presents! On Sunday we went to church and then to Andrew's aunt Beth's house and went swimming. Calleigh had a great time swimming, she is my little fish! Here is a slide show of her swimming for the first time...SHE LOVED IT!

Later that evening we went Andrew's mom's house and had dinner with her side of the family, even his family from NC was in for the weekend. it was nice to get to see them while they are home! Calleigh and I gave Andrew his Father's day present!
Tonight is the Bachelorette Night! Yeah!

Show us where you live...a little catch up...Part 1

So, when Kelly at kellyskorner.blogspot.com did "Show us Where you Live Fridays"-Kids Bedroom Edition, I was super sad because we were in the middle of moving her to a bigger, new room. But her room is done now so here are some pics for you!

This is the first thing you see when you look into her room from the door. The green cabinet is on the left, the curtain and toy box with her "C' on it is under the window and her bows are beside her closet. This is what you see from the other side of the room...her door on the left, her quilt rack in the middle, and her storage cabinet in the right! This is her crib and a view of the room standing beside the green cabinet:This is a closer view of her crib and her side table. The picture in the frame is the first family picture we ever took together. And this is the bow holder beside her closet.....I made this with a little flower help from my friend Kasey! Well, that is all, I hope you enjoyed your tour of Calleigh's NEW Room!!! She sure does seem to like it and that is really all that matters!

A fun weekend and many things

I have had a busy few weeks, but I am back now with a few pics. We have been moving rooms...Calleigh into a bigger bedroom, making her room a scrapbook room for me, and "creating" a dining room between the kitchen and living room. We also finally got our **NEW** AC/Heater..and it works great!!!

After we got Calleigh's new room almost done(Andrew has to finish painting her closet doors) we took her to WalMart and bought her a new 4-wheeler....here are some pics and a short video of her with it!

Well, all is well with our family. I hope all is well with yours. I am going to write another blog later on the blessing of the Lord and how we saw his love first hand yesterday. But for now, I have to get back to work!

A Little Update

I have not blogged for a while so I decided it was time. We have been absolutely swamped with different things that have been going on. I usually follow Kelly's "Show us where you live Fridays" Tour, but she did the two room that I am in the process of redoing. Calleigh is moving into her big girl room, which was previously the dining room, and her old room is going to be turned back into the guest bedroom/office. But as soon as I get it all together I will be sure to post pics so everyone can see what we have been working on.

Andrew started his MAT program today in hopes of getting his Principal's license. We are still in the process of letting God take the reigns and guide us to where he wants us to be. This is not and has not been an easy thing, but we know he has plans for us and we just have to let him be in control.

I hope you like the new blog look. I decided to keep it simple, and I loved the old design, but the template was not working correctly. So I went with this one. Let me know what you think!

Well, I am at work, so I better get back to my job! I'll do better at posting more and keeping everyone updated! Pray for us. We took Calleigh's paci away this Monday morning, and the past few days have been rough. Pray that God gives us the strength to not give it back to her and for her to learn that she does not need it!
